'Wonderkid' là một khái niệm sử dụng trong Football Manager để chỉ những cầu thủ trẻ xuất sắc nhất, thường là những cầu thủ dưới 20 tuổi, có khả năng hiện tại tốt, có tiềm năng phát triển rất cao.
Ben Sahar từng là một cái tên như thế. Từ 7 năm trước, Ben Sahar đã được đánh giá rất cao, được xem là Pele mới, với tốc độ, kĩ thuật, khả năng dứt điểm thượng hạng. Còn bây giờ, Sahar đang ngụp lặn ở giải Israel cho đội bóng Hapoel Be'er Sheva, và chỉ ghi có 9 bàn sau 25 trận đấu.
Năm 2010, tờ tạp chí Don Balon của Tây Ban Nha đã chọn ra top 100 tài năng trẻ xuất sắc nhất. Trong đó, chỉ một số ít cầu thủ vẫn tạo được tên tuổi đến ngày nay, có thể kể đến những cái tên như Ander Herrera, James Rodriguez, Thomas Muller, Toni Kroos, Jordan Henderson, Marco Reus, David de Gea, Romelu Lukaku, Neymar, Gareth Bale...
